Miriam King, 83, of 235 Springville Rd., Kinzers, died Tuesday, July 22, 2008 at her home after a lengthy illness. She was the daughter of the late Josiah and Lydia Smoker Beiler. She was the widow of Tobias S. King. She was a homemaker and a member of the Old Order Amish Church.
She is survived by: two sons, Elmer husband of Lena King of New Holland, Josiah King of Landisburg; five daughters, Lydia Ann wife of Amos Fisher, Landisburg, Catherine King of Gordonville, Barbara wife of Omar Stoltzfus of Blain, Sara wife of Levi King of Quarryville, Marie wife of Abram Miller of Narvon; two sisters, Hannah wife of David King of Newburg, Annie Beiler of Kinzers; two brothers, Isaac husband of Lavina Beiler of Kinzers, Josiah Jr. husband of Naomi Beiler of Kinzers; 21 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; seven step-grandchildren and 28 step-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by: brothers, Elmer and John; sisters, Mary Ann and Katie, an infant son, and a step-great-grandson.
Friends will be received at the late home from the time of this notice until the service. The funeral will be held at the home of Amos King, 533 Peters Road, Kinzers, on Thursday, July 24, 2008, at 9 a.m. EST. Interment will follow in Millwood Cemetery. Please omit flowers.
