Funeral services were held over the remains of sister May A. Perkins wife of George H. Perkins on Sunday May 30th. Bp Bleazard conducting. Henry Miller offered the invocation and benediction was pronounced by John Fluckiger.
The choir under the direction of Vasco Call sang "Though Deepening Trials" "I Need Thee Every Hour" and "O My Father" and Royal Preston sang "Face to Face" Lorna Bleazard accompanied the songs on the piano.
Inspiring and consoling remarks were made by Lyman W. Fluckiger, Bishop R.R Dana of Thayne, Henry Fluckiger and Bishop John Bleazard. Members of the family acted as pallbearers. Interment was at the Bedford cemetery, Vasco Call dedicating the grave.
Death was caused by pneumonia following an attack of the measles. Mrs Perkins was the mother of eight children, the youngest a babe of five weeks old. She was always noted as being a very kind and devoted mother and will be greatly missed by her husband, children and the entire community.
The floral offerings were beautiful and a large cortage of friends followed the remains to the cemetery.
A number of relatives from Idaho and Utah were in attendance at the funeral.

Mrs George Perkins of Bedford died at her home last week following an attack of measles and other complications. Funeral services were held in Bedford last Sunday and she was laid to rest in the Bedford Cemetery.
