Eileen Meehan Myers, age 85 of Dallas, TX, passed away May 25, 2008. She was born August 27, 1922, in St. Louis, MO, to Francis and Pearl (Delehunt) Myers. Ms. Myers was a homemaker and enjoyed painting watercolors, gardening and taking care of her flowers. She and her husband Paul, traveled extensively throughout the southwest. Ms. Myers was very active at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church and on the Council of Catholic Women.
She is survived by her son: Robert Myers; daughter: Mary Patricia Myers-Guerra & husband Rich; and sister: Dolores Veninga, all of Dallas, TX; and grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Ms. Myers was preceded in death by her parents; and husband Paul Myers.
Services will be held 2:00pm, Saturday, May 31, 2008 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 600 S. Jupiter Rd., Richardson, TX, with Rev. Monsignor Don Fischer officiating. Entombment will follow in Calvary Hill Mausoleum, 3235 Lombardy Ln., Dallas, TX. The family will receive friends Friday evening at the funeral home from 6:00 to 8:00pm, with a Rosary at 7:00pm. Memorial contributions may be made in Eileen's honor to the charity of one's choice.
