Owen G. Wallace, 83, Clarksville, died Sunday, June 19, 2005, at his residence.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Anglin Funeral Home, Dover, with Lee Billings officiating. Burial will be in Chestnut Grove Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 1 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and from 11 a.m. until the service Thursday at the funeral home.

He was born Oct. 13, 1921, in Dover, son of Fay O. and Lula Cheatham Wallace. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Patricia Malkowski.

Mr. Wallace was retired from the U.S. Army and civil service. He was a Baptist and a member of the American Legion and the Veterans of Foreign Wars.

Survivors include his wife, Beulah Boren Wallace, Clarksville; two sons, Bill Wallace, Westland, Mich., and Steven Wallace, Elizabethtown, Ky.; two daughters, Connie Sue Martin, Southgate, Mich., and Connie Sue Allen, Clarksville; two brothers, Brad Wallace, Dover, and S.J. Wallace, Virginia; two sisters, Effie Hall, Gainesville, Fla., and Ora May Futrell, Florida; 11 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
