Rena Harris, a lifetime resident of Rockwall, TX, passed away peacefully on July 19, 2008, at her home surrounded by her loved ones. She was born January 25, 1944, to Carl and Bonnie (Graem) Smith. Rena was a loving homemaker and member of Bethel Baptist Church.
She is survived by son: Scott Harris and wife Anna of Lewisville, TX; daughter: Annetta Nabors and husband John of Blooming Grove, TX; mother: Bonnie Graem and sister: Carolyn Hill and husband John all of Rockwall; brother: Wayne Smith and wife Debbie of Garland, TX; grandchildren: Jeremy, Jenna, James, Robbie, Alana, Aleisha and Matthew. Rena was preceded in death by her father Carl Smith and husband James Harris.
Funeral services will be held 11:00am Wednesday, July 23, 2008, at Rest Haven Funeral Home-Rockwall Chapel with Pastor Duane Crane officiating. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 6:00 to 8:00pm.
