PETERSON - Melanie A., went on to be with her Lord Jesus Christ, Saturday July 19, 2008, at her Tulsa home. She was born in Kansas City, KS on June 26, 1956, the daughter of Mildred A. Carroll and Ralph L. Carroll. Melanie graduated from Emporia State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education. On November 4, 1978, Melanie married Jere D. Peterson, and has had 29 great years with him. She taught for the past 25 years at Victory Christian School, Tulsa, OK.
She is survived by: her husband; sons, Josh and Matt; daughter, Christine and son, Joe; her parents; her brothers, Randy Carroll and wife Susan, Rex Carroll and wife Terri; and sister Lisa Blodgett and husband Bryan.
Family will be receiving friends from 5-7 pm, on Wednesday, July 23rd at Add'vantage Funeral Service.
