LE ROY FANNING
Le Roy Fanning, 51 of 2308 S. Tenth St., died unexpectedly Wednesday morning at a St. Joseph Hospital.
Born in Bucklin, Missouri, he had spent most of his life in St. Joseph.
He was a self-employed logger.
Surviving are his wife, Marie Fanning of the home; six daughters, Lori Ann Chafe of Tacoma, Washington, Barbara Jacobs, Phyllis Crump, Stephanie Fanning and Brenda Leverton, all of St. Joseph, and Mary Lou Kincaid of Oroville, California; eight sons, Lee Roy Fanning of the home, and Virgil Fanning, Earl Fanning, David Fanning, Phillip Fanning, and Winfred LeRoy Fanning, Jr., Donald Fanning, and James Fanning, all of St. Joseph; a granddaughter; and five brothers, Larry Fanning, Edwin Fanning, and Ronald Fanning, all of St. Joseph, Eldon Fanning of Omaha, Nebraska, and Harvey Fanning, residing in the state of Washington.
The body is at the Rupp Funeral Home where services are pending.
