Johnie Lorene Thomas, 71, of Newcomb, died Thursday at Oak Ridge Hospital.
Funeral services were held Sunday at the Cox and Son Funeral Home with Rev. Seitz officiating. Interment followed in Newcomb Cemetery.
Survivors include three sons, Tommy Joe Thomas of Knoxville, Lowell Edward Thomas of Chicago, and James Richard Thomas of Jellico; four daughters, Alta Yvonne Rule of Perkin, Ill., Peggy Louise Hatfield of Chicago, Carolyn Rose Tindle of Carpentersville, Ind., and Mildred Jean Logsdon of Fairfax, Va.; six sisters, Ann Artis, Louise Artis, and Pearl McBee of Newcomb, Carrie Lee of Knoxville, Hurtridge Bowlin of Owosso, Mich. and Mary Hesterly of Hogansville, Ga.; 15 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
