Richland, LA: Earl Wellington Scroggs, age 4 years, 1 month and 4 days, only son of Mr. and Mrs. B. R. Scroggs, departed this life on Tuesday, 23rd of October 1906.
Little Earl was the only son and was the pet of both parents and grandparents.
The deceased was laid to rest Wednesday, October 24, in the Pineville Cemetery.
Little Earl has gone to heaven,
His childish voice is stilled;
The place made vacant in our home
Can never more be filled.
May God comfort the grief stricken mother and father, and little sister
