Everett Lee Scarborough, age 57 years, died suddenly at his home in Natchitoches. Funeral services were conducted from First Baptist church, Natchitoches by Rev. Troy W. Wheeler 10 a.m. last Friday, followed by interment in Central cemetery near Robeline under direction of Massingill funeral home.

Surviving are: wife; daughter, Mrs. Clementine Hervien, Toledo, Ohio; sons, Capt. E. L. Scarborough, Washington, D.C., Glynn Otis Scarborough, Chanute Field, Ill.; brothers, L. M. and Norman, Natchitoches, Percy H., Gardena, Calif., Zannie M., Jenie, Ark., Luther, Colorado City, Texas, A.B., Natchitoches, Truett L., Ruston, sister, Mrs. Fred Cooper, Robeline, mother, Mrs. R. L. Scarborough, Natchitoches.

Mr. Scarborough was a member of the Baptist church and the Masonic lodge. He was purchasing agent for the city assesor of Natchitoches for two terms.

Active pallbearers wer: V. S. Pugh, Andrew Hargis, Laird Fletcher, Orie Fair, Ray Royston and Curtis Parker. Honorary pallbearers were: George Forshee, Charles W. A. McClean, Leroy S. Miller, Leonard Dietrich, Dr. M. H. Philips, O. A. Slater, E. S. Swett, Dick Shuler, G. F. Thomas, Van Woodard, Lary hampton, Charlie Waters, Dr. R. G. Corkern, E. A. Lee, Sr., A. B. Simpson and E. L. McClung.

Mr. Scarborough was a veteran of World War I.
