Sandra was born June 28, 1934 in New Orleans, La., died July 19th. Sandra was preceded in death by her first husband Bill Courie, and her parents Sam and Blanche Smith. She is survived by her husband Wallace Grundeman, daughter Diane Carleton, son Eli Courie, son-in-law Bruce, and daughter-in-law Sherri. She was "Mimi" to her seven grandchildren; Laura Fields and husband Micah, Jill and Stephen Carleton, Rachel, Natalie, Zachary and Anastasia Courie. She also had 3 great-granchildren Sam, Will and Carly Fields. Sandra was a realtor with Ebby Halliday for 30 years. She was a member of St. Monica Catholic Community for 46 years and served St. Vincent de Paul Society for 25 years. She was also active in the Widowed Persons Services and Meals on Wheels. Sandra also leaves behind many wonderful friends, colleagues and clients who will miss her dearly. A rosary will be recited 8:00 p.m., Monday, July 21st at Sparkman/Hillcrest. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, July 22nd at St. Monica Catholic Church. Following the mass, a reception will be held at the church. Private interment will be held at Calvary Hill Cemetery.
