BERTHA LORENA DAVIS, 94, of Houston, Texas, passed away on April 29, 2006, in Webster, Texas. Mrs. Davis was born August 31, 1911, in Eva, Louisiana to Henry and Mary Holland. She is preceded in death by her husband, E.A. Davis and daughter Jo Ann Davis, her four brothers and four sisters. She is survived by her daughter Mary Alice and Fred Driehs, her sister Wilhelmina Wylie of Vidor, Texas, five grandchildren, six great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. Mrs. Davis was a member of Gloria Dei Lutheran Church. A graveside service will be held Wednesday, May 3, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. at Lakeview Memorial Gardens, 5000 W. Harrison Road, Longview, Texas. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Meals on Wheels Association of America, www.mowaa.org.
