Luella Lewellyn
Luella Lewellyn, 72, Dugger, died at 10:30 p.m. Thursday, March 29, 1984, in Mary Sherman Hospital.
She was born May 28, 1911, in Sullivan County, the daughter of Ed and Elizabeth (Akers) Alsop. A son, Billy R., preceded her in death in 1976. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Dugger.
Surviving are her husband, Elmer L.; a son, Wayne, Dugger; Six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Services are set for 2 p.m. Sunday at Newkirk Funeral Home, the Rev. Ted Miller officiating. Burial will be in Dugger Cemetery. Friends may call after 4 p.m. Saturday.
