Mrs. Pearson, 92, of Aiken, died Monday, June 18, 2007 at Aiken Regional Medical Centers.
A daughter of the late Dave L and Annie Spehl Lawson, she was born in Newberry, SC and had lived in Columbia before moving to Aiken in 1946. Mrs. Pearson was a self-employed beautician and had operated her own beauty salon on Greenville St. for over 40 years. She was a member of the Garden Makers Club and the Christian Womens Club.
She is survived by her husband, John Odell Pearson, with whom she celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary on May 29th; a nephew, Milton Terri Lawson, Appling, GA; a grand nephew, Benjamin Lawson, Appling, GA; three sisters in law, Peggy Griffin, Ft. Walton Beach, FL, Katherine Ashmore, Simpsonville, SC and Janet Schwing, York, SC; and three nieces, Ann Dave Moulton, Andrews, NC, Cecelia Green, Maplesville, AL and Linda Knowles, Montevallo, AL.
