"Marty" Eberly
VENETA - The funeral will be at 12:15 p.m. Wednesday, June 6, at St. Mary Catholic Church in Eugene for Martha Mary "Marty" Eberly of Veneta, who died June 1 of age-related causes at age 76.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. today, June 5, at Musgrove Family Mortuary in Eugene, with recitation of the rosary to follow at 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Oak Hill Cemetery in Eugene.
Eberly was born May 5, 1931, in Verboort, Ore., to Albert and Theodora Van Dyke Jansen.
She married Patrick Eberly on Feb. 5, 1952, in Verboort.
She graduated from Visitation High School.
She worked as a child care provider for 30 years.
Survivors include a daughter, Diane Sconce of Veneta; a son, David of Vancouver, Wash.; two brothers, Larry Jansen and Wilbur "Pete" Jansen, both of Verboort; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Her husband died March 24, 2004.
