Mr. Anderson died Monday, August 16, 2004 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
He was born in Darden, TN, son of the late Roy Edmond and Reatha Elizabeth Hays Anderson. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army National Guard. Mr. Anderson was employed with Owens Corning Fiberglass Corporation for 18 years and retired from Murray Guard Service. He was a member of Teamsters local 216.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mrs. Birdie Ann Quinn Anderson on May 7, 2000. Survivors include a daughter, Lorie Brown of Brownsville, TN; six sons, Barney Anderson, Jr. and David Glenn Anderson, both of Jackson, TN, Phillip Anderson of Nashville, TN, Junior Edmond Anderson and Christopher Lee Cody Anderson, both also of Jackson, TN, and Chase Edward Anderson of Bemis, TN; 13 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. today at the funeral home.
