Carl Olson, Resident of Dallas, Dies
DALLAS, Ore.—Carl Elmer Olson, 68, a resident of Dallas the past three years, died here Saturday following a 10-day illness.
He was born Jan. 4, 1892 at Greeley, Neb., and lived at Marion before moving to Washington and later to Dallas. He was a retired farmer and a member of the Marion Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include his widow, Pearl Olson, Dallas; three daughters, Mrs. D. M. Patch, Aumsville; Mrs. James Hague, Dallas; and Mrs. Glenn Sutton, Seattle; a son, Winn Olson, Seattle; a sister, Mrs. Elma Spalding, Chemawa, and 18 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Monday at 2 p.m. at Marion Friends Church, with burial at Marion Cemetery. Bollman funeral home is in charge.
