OBITUARY:
James L. Hague
Feb. 6, 1914-June 8, 1998

DALLAS—James Hague, 84, died Monday.

He was born in Hardesty, Okla., and worked for the Civilian Conservation Corps. He moved to Oregon in 1936 and in 1951 became a welder and mechanic for Caterpillar in Dallas, retiring in 1976. He then had a commercial fishing boat in Depoe Bay. He was a member of the Dallas Evangelical Church and enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Survivors include his wife, Betty, whom he married in 1939; sons, Merle of Dallas and Noah of Ashland; brothers, Bill of Vancouver, Wash., David of Port Orchard, Wash., and Charles of Salem; sisters, Ethel Rhodes and Rebecca Meyer, both of Salem, Wilma Thorp of Vancouver, Wash., and Ronnie Hague of Stayton; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Services will be 10 a.m. Monday in the church. Private interment will be in Marion Friends Cemetery. Contributions: church memorial fund or Gideons in care of Dallas Mortuary Chapel

DALLAS—James Hague, 84, died Monday.
