She was an active temple worker and completed thousands of extractions. She was also involved as the primary president in Cedar City, Las Vegas and Salt Lake City. Ramona was a Relief Society President in Cedar City, Salt Lake and Las Vegas. Mother held callings as visiting teaching coordinator in the Sun Crest 10th Ward until she was into her late 80's. She was loved by all she served. Mothers side work was to take food to the elderly who could not go out of their home. She was also a part of the Enoch Orchestra. She was an accomplished saxophone player, she also played the piano, accordion and the organ. Mother set an excellent example by living righteously. Ramona was a great loving mother and homemaker.
Ramona is survived by her three children J.F. Smith of Sandy, Utah; Jay N. (Tamara) Smith of Las Vegas, Nevada; and Max L. (Lori) Smith of Orem, Utah. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren 26 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her daughter Dorothy Robb and her grandson Curtis Robb. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday May 24, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. at the Rock Church. Visitations will be held on Tuesday May 23, 2006 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Southern Utah Mortuary, and also on Wednesday May 24, 2006 one hour prior to services at the Rock Church. Interment will be in the Cedar City Cemetery
