Cheree Frehner Paddock our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend passed away on May 31, 2008 from complications due to heart surgery.
She was born on April 10, 1944 to Lucille DeMille and Orlin Frehner in Rockville, Utah, but spent her early years in Mesquite, later moving to Cedar City where she stayed.
She married Ashley George Paddock on September 14, 1962 in Cedar City. In school Cheree was a very bright student, and was involved in many activities and clubs. She did accounting work for Southwick & Whetten, Lin's Thriftway and was manager for CIME Credit Union before moving on to the Forest Service where she held a number of positions. She retired in 2006 after 20 years. She was praised for her excellent work by all her employers. Cheree loved to read and watch the Utah Jazz. She enjoyed her time with friends and family very much and was willing to do anything for them. She loved being a mom and grandma and was very loving and supportive. She was a member of the LDS Church.
Cheree is survived by her husband Ashley of Cedar City, UT., her children; Michele (Richard) Abbott of Paragonah, UT., Mason (Ellen) Paddock of St. George, UT., and Boyd (Jo Anna) Paddock of Payson, UT. Her sister Lynda (Neal) Riffle of Avondale, AZ, her brother Jeff Frehner of Sun City, AZ, her step mom Wanda Frehner of St. George, UT., and her brothers; Brad Frehner of Spanish Fork, UT., and Brett Frehner of Mesquite, NV. Also 9 grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild.
She is preceded in death by her mother Lucille DeMille Johannesen, step father Mark Johannesen and father Orlin Frehner. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 5, 2008 at 11:00 am at Fiddlers Canyon Chapel located at 2015 Wedgewood Lane in Cedar City, Utah. Interment will be in the Cedar City Cemetery under the direction of Southern Utah Mortuary.
