Mr. Schryver spent his entire life in this neighborhood being called away very suddenly and unexpectedly at his home June 23, 1916 at the age of 56 years, 9 months, and 28 days. He leaves to mourn his untimely departure his wife and daughter, his aged mother, one brother and the entire community of friends and neighbors. While his body molders back to Mother Earth his spirit returns to God who gave it.
Funeral services were held at the Brick Church Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock, conducted by Rev. H.A. Barton of Coleta.
