Springfield - Howard L. Bowman, 73, widower of Dorothy Tindall Bowman, died Saturday, Nov. 22, 2003. The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Nov. 24, at the Folk Funeral Home Chapel, Williston, with burial at Rocky Swamp Methodist Church Cemetery, Springfield. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Mr. Bowman was born in Missouri, a son of the late Ernest Bowman and Ruth Stanley Bowman. He retired from Milliken Corporation and formerly worked for Webb's Hardware in Barnwell. Survivors include sons, Tony and Randy Bowman, both of Springfield; sister, Nadine Bowman, of Oklahoma City; brothers, Ray Bowman, of Norway, Kenny Bowman, of Freistatt, Mo., Gene Bowman, of Rogers, Ark., Jimmy
Bowman, of Pea Ridge, La.; grandchildren, Reggie, Sandi and Lacey Bowman; great-grandchildren, Elizabeth and Trevor Bowman.
