JORDAN - Thomas Daniel Jordan, a resident of this city for the last 25 years, passed away Sunday, September 19, 1943 after an extended illness. He was born May 2, 1852 and was aged 91 years, four months and 17 days when called. Surviving is a nephew J.J. Denson of Merrill, Oregon. (part of article is missing).

JORDAN - Funeral services for the late Thomas Daniel Jordan, a resident of Klamath Falls for the past 25 years, who passed away in this city, September 30, will be held at the graveside in Linkville cemetery, Friday September 24 at 10:30 a.m. with the Reverend Eugene V. Haman of the Congregational Community church officiating. Friends are invited. Services are in charge of Earl Whitlock Funeral Home, Pine Street at Sixth.

Thomas' death notices do not mention that he was married and had 12 children; he had been estranged from his family for more than 40 years when he died. J. J. Denson was the son of Thomas' sister Mary Jane.
