Erving Jack Southard of Umatilla, Ore., died Friday, August 26, 1977 at Hermiston, Ore. He was a truck driver, having moved to Oregon in 1964. He was 68.
Southard was born in Greeley, Colorado on April 21, 1909. He married his wife Georgia J. at Gold Beach, Ore. in 1968. He was affiliated with the Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Georgia J.; two sons, two daughters, and numerous stepsons.
Also surviving are numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his second wife Agnes Southard and all of his brothers and sisters, Oscar Melvin, Clarence, Charlie, Henry Abner, Roy James Southard and sister Lilly Horn.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday in Linn Grove Cemetery. Macy Allnutt Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
