Services for Freddie will be held on Tuesday, Dec 11, 2007 at the First United Methodist Church of Chandler at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Stan Copeland, Lt. Jim Griffin and Rev Russ Munch officiating.

Burial will be at the Chandler Memorial Cemetery under the direction of The Chandler Memorial Funeral Home.

Mr. Cade died at home in his wife's arms.

Freddie Cade was born on May 6, 1932, in Chandler, Texas to the late A. D. Cade and Opal Ellis Cade. After the death of his mother, he was raised by his grandparents, Mank and Melisa Ellis. Fred Cade loved Jesus Christ, his Lord and Savior. He was a life long member of the First United Methodist Church of Chandler. He graduated from Chandler High School, then served in the United States Navy for four years. He was stationed in Kingsville, Texas. He rode in rodeos when on leave. He was alter stationed out of Florida on the USS Montgomery. In May of 1955, riding a horse down a Chandler street, Fred caught a glance of Janice Stuart. It was love at first sight. They raised their family in Tyler, where he earned his associate's degree from Tyler Junior College and attended East Texas State University. He had certifications in Real Estate and Petroleum Land Management. He was a realator, a landman with the Phillips Coal Company, then an independent petroleum landman. He worked until the time of his death in the oil and gas business with his close friend Horace "Bo" Rowold. Freddie was a longtime member of the American Association of Petroleum Landman as well as the East Texas Association of Petroleum Landman. He was a 50 year 32 degree Mason in the Chandler Masonic Lodge was a loved and well respected member of the Chandler Community.

Mr. Cade was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Janice Stuart Cade. Freddie adored his wife, his best friend, and the love of his life. He was a devoted husband and father with three children, seven grandchildren and two great grand children. Son Glen Stuart Cade and wife Debi, Angela Cade Hill, Fredna Jean Chavanne and husband Christian, one brother, Charles Sidney Cade and wife Velma; grandsons Brandon Neil Cade and wife Holly Cade, Joshua Glen Cade, Austin Ryan Cade, Marco Anthony Cade Chavanne, Zachary Augustus Cade Hill, two beaufiful granddaughters, Maya Angelina Christiane Chavanne, Lindsay-Ellison Angelica Hill and two great grand children, Augustus Cade and Camper Cade. Charles was his brother and friend. They shared an abundance of love and their families shared many happy memories.

Freddies five grandsons will be pallbearers.

Honorary pallbeaers are nephews, Charles "Chuck" Cade Jr, William "Billy" Cade, James "Bo" Hargrave, great nephew Sheyenne Hargrave, cousins Don Cade Copeland, and Joe Fitzgerald, Jerry Kidd, Bill McHam, Horace "Bo" Rowold, Wade Rowold and Clint Ingram.

Freddie had a quick wit, warm smile, and a twinkle in his eye, He was a loving, giving, compassionate man and deeply loved the Lord, his family, and adored his wife. He will be sorely missed
