Laurie Taylor
(December 21, 1962 - July 15, 2008)
With sadness and disbelief we say goodbye to a wonderful Daughter, Sister, Aunt and Friend. Laurie collapsed and died suddenly and unexpectedly on Tuesday, July 15th. Laurie "La Tay" had a fabulous sense of humor, she loved to make people laugh with her acting, singing and accents, you could always count on her comedic entertainment. Laurie was so talented; she had not yet met a craft she did not like. She was an amazing cook and she loved to camp. She "led her life by no mans lead, she was beholden to no one." Laurie enjoyed working at ARUP Laboratories for 22 years where she will be missed by so many of her co-workers.
Laurie is survived by: Mother, Marilyn F. Taylor; Sisters, Angie, Teresa (Steve) Kissell, Cindy and Micki; 10 Nieces and Nephews. Preceded in death by her father Gilbert L. Taylor.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday July 19, 2008 at Memorial Mortuary, 5850 South 900 East. A viewing will be held 2 hours prior to services at the mortuary. Interment will be at Redwood Memorial Estates, 6500 South Redwood Road.
