Clifford G. COONEY
Clifford G. Cooney Age 88, of Villas, NJ, formerly of Wilmington, died Tuesday in Burdette Tomlin Memorial Hospital, Cape May Court House, NJ.
Mr. Cooney was born and lived in Wilmington most of his life, retiring to the villas 25 years ago.
He was a retired upholsterer for the Pennsylvania Railroad in Wilmington, where he worked for 40 years.
He was a Navy veteran of WWII.
Mr. Cooney is survived by 2 daughters, Paula (& Wayne) Connors of Boothwyn, PA and Karen (& Ted) Myers of Chester Heights, PA; 1 son, Fritz Kroepil of DE; 6 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren.
Visitation: 7-8 p.m. Friday at Sudak-Danaher Funeral Home, 815 Washington St., Cape May, NJ 08204, and also 10:30-11 a.m. Saturday with the service at 11 a.m. at the Riverview Cemetery Chapel, Wilmington. Burial to follow.
