Ruthie Maldon Morgan, 65, of Bonifay, Fla., and formerly of Caryville, Fla., passed away Saturday, July 12, 2008, at Doctors Memorial Hospital in Bonifay, Fla.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, July 18, 2008, at St. Mary A.M.E. Church in Caryville, Fla., with the Rev. Charles Maldon and the Rev. Obadiah White officiating.
Interment will follow in Bonifay Cemetery with Cooper Funeral Home of Chipley, Fla., directing. The remains will lie in state at the church one hour prior to services.

Survivors include her husband, Matthew Morgan of Bonifay, Fla.; children, Vince Staten of Panama City, Fla., Kenneth Staten of Jonesboro, Ga., Donna Houston of Atlanta, Rosia Lindsey of Shiloh, Ill., Eva Moore of Jacksonville, N.C., Annie Staten, Destra Moses and Linda Staten of Bonifay, Fla.; brothers, Alphonso Maldon of Fairfax, Va., the Rev. Charles Maldon of Marlboro, Md., and Robert Maldon of Marianna, Fla.; sisters, Clara Williams of Campbellton, Fla., and Johnny Bright of Gainesville, Ga.; and many other relatives and friends.
