"Mrs. Carrie Dickey of Brandon, Nebraska, nee Monical, died last Thursday. Her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J.M. Monical, were at her bedside for 2 weeks, and accompanied the body back to Brooklyn. She had gone to Boulder and Denver, Colorado, for health reasons, and about 6 months ago, married a Nebraska farmer. She was born about 1855 near Brooklyn, and had been a teacher." Daughter of James M. and Rachel Matthews Monical.
