Henry married Amanda Elizabeth Andrews on 18 May 1856. They had two daughters, Mary Elizabeth 4 July 1856 and Martha Francis 24 June 1858. Henry Hall was born 9 Aug 1842 in Alabama. He was a farmer. Henry served in the Civil War on the side of the South and was killed at a battle below Richmond VA and was buried in an old well with many other soldiers.
Before Henry was killed the family had joined the Latter Day Saints Church and it was his wish that they migrate to Utah.
After he was killed Amanda worked as a nurse and changed her confederate money for Yankee money until she had enough money to come to Utah which they did in the year 1869 traveling with the Andrews family.
After arriving in Utah, Amanda met and married Serrine Conrad and they had 5 more daughters together.
