Sgt. Richard (Earl to his family) served 16 months in Alaska with the Army-Air Corp. WW II and honorably discharged in Miami Beach, Fla.
He married his beloved (petite, blond green eyed) sweetheart Wanda E. Baugh May 15, 1945 in Miami Beach, Fla. (she came to Miami Beach with his mother for a visit. She and daddy married there, his mother returned to Indiana alone.)
They were the parents of 3 children, Sharon, Ricky and David.
Daddy was a happy go-lucky person who loved life, was a friend to all and would give the shirt off his back to someone else. He had recently became a member of the Mason's and was very proud of that. Daddy worked hard and took care of an ailing wife.
On Monday July 21, 1958 his body was found in the canal in the Everglades. Mom grieved for the next 18 years over dads death. They loved each other beyond words and were very devoted to each other and their children.
