Sillus A. Henegar, son of the late Peter and Rebecca Jane Dossett Henegar, was born in Campbell City, Tennessee on April 10, 1913 and departed this life on January 21, 2006 at the age of 92 years.

He was a retired restaurant owner and a member of First Baptist Church in Vero Beach, FL. He was also a WWII U.S. Army veteran having attained the rank of Sgt. and was a Master Mason.

He is survived by his care-givers, great-niece, Cheri Lay and great-great-nephews Clint and Nate all of Science Hill. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Cora Lee Rice Henegar, two brothers, William Henegar and Dennis Henegar and five sisters, Lizzie Brantley, Ethel Smith, Odessa Palmer, Bertha Lay Jones and Gertrude Higgs.

A graveside service will be held Wednesday, January 25, 2006 at Hillcrest memorial Gardens in Fort Pierce, Florida with Bro. Jim Newsome officiating.

Burial in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
