Maxine Harrison, 92, died June 29, 2008, at her residence in Piedmont, Mo.
She was born Dec. 25, 1915, in Stillwell, Okla., daughter of the late Jay and Cora (Redford)O'Neal.
She was united in marriage to Jack B. Harrison in 1932. He preceded her in death.
Mrs. Harrison was a homemaker and a member of Mill Spring Christian Church. She was chairson of the YWCA and did a lot of volunteer and charity work.
She is survived by one son Robert Harrison, Piedmont; one brother, Doyle(Connie)O'Neal, Bellaire, Mich.; grandchildren, Benjamin(Julie) Harrison, San Diego, Calif., Elizabeth(Steve) Davis, St. Louis County; great-grandchildren, Ashton Davis, and one on the way.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Woodson "Woody" O'Neal, and a sister, Goldie Wallace.
The funeral was held July 2 at Ruegg Funeral Home in Piedmont with Bro. Kevin Kinnard officiating. Ben Harrison and Beth Davis spoke about their grandmother. Fran Cassidy performed special music and Margaret King played the piano.
Pallbearers were Ben Harrison, Steve davis, Joe King, Don Kemp, Dale Million and Paul Bilbrey. Burial was in Masonic Cemetery, Piedmont.
