Gary R. Helm, 43, of Monticello died May 18, 2003 at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana. Funeral services will be graveside at Monticello Township Cemetery.
Mr. Helm was born February 17, 1960 in Decatur, s/o Clarence and Judith Ellis Helm. He is survived by two sons: Justin of Mahomet; and Dylan of Monticello; daughter: Laura of Monticello; his mother of Decatur; three brothers: Clarence Jr., Wayne, and Wendell all of Decatur; four sisters: Sherry Murgas, Cindy Benson and Tanya Hussman, all of Decatur; and Jackie Karmatzis of Danville. He was preceded in death by his parents and one son.
He was a member of the Truck Drivers Union and employed by Steve Gilbert Trucking. Memorials to a fund in his name.
