July 6, 1948 - Carroll Times - Dale Carl Wollesen, son of Carl and Eleanor Wollesen of Lake View, was one of four who died Sunday as the result of injuries received in an automobile accident 6 miles east of Lake View. Merlin, brother of Dale, was injured in the accident.
Funeral services were held in the Peace Lutheran Church. Burial was made in the Wall Lake Cemetery.
The Lake View youth, son of Mr and Mrs Carl Wollesen, was a nephew of Mrs. George Brown of Carroll. He graduated from the Lake View high school this spring.
Besides his parents, he leaves his brother, Merlin, 17. He was born August 4, 1929 in Wall Lake township, Sac County.
