"Tad" was the 2nd child of Ralph & Evelyn Huffman. My brother was a very talented young man - I often wonder what he'd be like & what he would have done had his life not been snuffed out one hot summer night while working in the "pit" of the stock car races that were held every Monday night at the Las Frontier Hotel stock car races in Las Vegas, NV. A race car was unable to make a turn & went through the crash-wall hitting & killing Tad instantly. Another young man from Nellis Air Force base was also hit and lived a couple days. So, July 10th is always a sad day for his sister: me. I found out as a young girl that: LIFE IS PRECIOUS; LIFE CAN BE TAKEN AT ANY MOMENT – YES, it CAN be YOU -- Enjoy what God has given you; make the most of it.
