"Samuel Caulk, the Kansas Central Railroad brakeman who was knocked from a bridge some time ago and had one of his legs cut off, died night before last in the hospital at the Fort, of lockjaw which began Saturday night.
His body was brought to the city yesterday morning and sent out over the Kansas Central road to the home of his parents in Easton."
