Cedric L. "Dee" Aldridge, 83, of Rushville, died Thursday, Jan. 3, 2007 at Flatrock River Lodge.

Born Jan. 13, 1924 in Milroy, he was the son of Elmer and Sylvia (Marsh) Aldridge, both deceased. He married Dorothy Gorrell July 26, 1946; she survives.

Mr. Aldridge was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He worked as a lineman for PSI Energy until retiring in 1989. He was a member of the American Legion, the VFW (where he was a Past Commander), and an IBEW retired member.

Survivors in addition to his wife include one son, one sister-in-law, three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Besides his parents he was preceded in death by three brothers, Harley, Charlie and Clifford Aldridge.
