Scott Hayden Burton, 32, died Saturday, June 28, 2008. He was a resident of Edinburgh.
Survivors include his parents, Hayden Burton of Edinburgh and Sara (Johnson) Orner of Columbus; a daughter, Brooke Burton of Edinburgh; his girlfriend, Jerrica DeBusk; three sisters, Shawna Burton and Monica Streeval, both of Edinburgh, and Vickie Whitaker of Prince's Lakes; three brothers, Dusty and Chris Whitaker, both of Franklin, and Scottie Whitaker of Edinburgh; five nephews, Justin Knight, Kevin Streeval, Cayden Burton, Derick Coleman and Avynn Whitaker; three nieces, Aalea Streeval, Summer Whitaker and Kaitlin Bailey; and several aunts and uncles.
He is preceded in death by grandparents, Orval and Mary Johnson and Vontress Smith and Oris Burton; and his stepfather, Ronald E. Orner.
He attended Edinburgh Separate Baptist Church and was a self-employed core buyer.
The Rev. Guy Hardin will conduct a funeral service at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Edinburgh Separate Baptist Church, 905 S. Main St., Edinburgh. Calling will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today and 11 a.m. until time of service Tuesday at the church. He will be buried at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh.

Calling will be at the church from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday and 11:00 a.m. until time of service Tuesday. Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh.
