Survivors include two daughters, Neva Shirley and Shirley Curtis, both of Tompkinsville; a brother, Randall "Shorty" Walker, Beaumont, four grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
A grandson, Terry Dean Shirley; two sisters, Neva Marie Walker and Nina Pearl Curtis, and a brother Joe Eagle Walker, all preceded her in death. Julia was 81, and died at the Monroe Health and Rehab Center at Tompkinsville. Bro Stoney Morris, officiated.
