Dorothy Elizabeth Bagwell, 91 of Greenville, passed away Saturday, May 19, 2012 at Hunt Regional Medical Center. A graveside service will be 10 A.M., Tuesday, May 22, 2012 at Memoryland Memorial Park. Coker-Mathews Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Bagwell was born August 3, 1920 in Lamar County, TX to Charlie Sullivan and Nancy Elizabeth White Sullivan. She married Jack Boyd Bagwell on September 26, 1942 in Greenville, TX. She was a beautician and owned her beauty shop at the 1st Greenville National Bank Building. She was a member of Beta Sigma Phi since October 1947 and was a Charter member of Ridgecrest Baptist Church. She is survived by her nephews, E.C. Hancock and wife, Jimmye of Paris, Don King and wife, Hope of Irving, Bob Hancock and wife Barbara of Kennett, MO and Dr. David Gibson and wife, Susan of San Diego, nieces, Jacqueline Neisbander of Dallas and Sharon Kinnery of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, several great-nieces and nephews including Chuck Allen, Sherrye Hubbs and Kathye Allen. She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; brother, Charlie Alex Sullivan, Sisters, Ella Mae Hancock, Emma Loyd Sullivan, Bonnie Hutchison, Pheba Gibson, Jimmie Bell King and Verna Price.
