YARBROUGH, GEORGE E., age 85, of Trussville, died Friday, May 23, 2008. Mr. Yarbrough proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force and was a long-time member of Trussville First Baptist Church. He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Katie Yarbrough; his son, James Yarbrough (Debra); his daughter, Kay Sumner (Mike); his brother, Arlie Yarbrough (Argeline); his sisters, Mary Alice Anderson (Monroe) and Nan Johnson (Mike); his grandchildren, Micah Yarbrough and Matthew Yarbrough (Kelly); and his great-granddaughter, Kelsey. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the nurses and staff of AlaCare hospice for the dedicated care and service that they have given. Funeral services will be held at 11 A.M. Tuesday, May 27, 2008 at Ridout's Trussville Chapel with Rev. Bobby Erwin officiating. Burial will follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens. The Family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday morning from 10 A.M. until service time.
