In the cemetery of Leominster the family lots of the Legates and Morris adjoin each other, and buried there side by side are the following members of the two families, although ONLY ONE HEADSTONE ( that of Mary Morris) marks the place; Thomas Legate, Esq., (II) and his wife Mary Morris with their infant daughter Elizabeth Dorothy Evered and his second wife Deborah Miller Shepard, Thomas Legate (III) and his wife, Deborah Vose, with their children who died in infancy, Charles and Henry, and their second son by the name of Henry, and all the members of the Morris family who died in Sterling.
