Evelyn Lange Braden, a lifelong resident of Floresville, Texas
She was born Sept. 5, 1921, in Floresville to Hugo H. Lange and Ernestine Teltschik Lange.
Pallbearers were Jory Lange, William Lange, Jon Lange, Robert Rentfro, Nohl Bryant, Randall Thompson, Troye Thompson, and Reave Thompson.
Evelyn attended school in Floresville, graduating from Floresville High School in 1939. On October 12, 1940, she married Eddie R. Braden. Eddie, Evelyn's beloved husband of over 43 years, preceded her in death April 18, 1984.

She worked as a secretary with the Gonzales Production Credit Association and retired in 1984 after 35 years of service. Evelyn loved animals, particularly her dogs, sheep, and all the birds in her yard. After her retirement she was kept occupied with family genealogy as she enjoyed being with people. She was a member of the Church of Christ and the Floresville Musical Club.

Evelyn is survived by her brother, Victor Lange and wife Willis of Pleasanton; nephews Jory Lange and wife Melinda and Jon Lange and wife Kathleen; nieces Allison Rentfro and husband Robert and Deidra Thompson and husband Randall; seven great-nephews; two great-nieces; and one great-great-niece.
