Mr. Gibson operated a plumbing and sheet metal business on North Vine Street in Arthur for about 35 years before his retirement.
He was a member of the Arthur Methodist Church and the Arthur I.O.O.F. Lodge of which he was a past Noble Grand.
Preceding him in death, other than his wife, was a daughter, Mary Gibson who died February 13,1903, two brothers, Byrt and Shelby; and two sisters Worth & Ruby.
