Died suddenly at about 5:30pm in St Mary's Hospital in Decatur where he had been admitted about four hours earlier.
Death was reported to have resulted from virus pneumonia and bronchitis.
Graveside services and burial were in the Arthur Cemetery Wednesday January 16 at 1:30pm with Father Daniel Daly of Mattoon officiating and the Fleming Funeral Home of Arthur in charge of arrangement.
