James Carrico Breaks Arm Cranking Car
With his arm broken just above the wrist,
James Carrico will be laid up for several
weeks so far as any heavy duty activities
are concerned. He attempted to crank a car
Wednesday and the motor reversed with the
usual result.

BATTLE CREEK -- Funeral services for James
P. Carrico, 84, who died Friday in Omaha,
will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the
Methodist Church here. Rev. Herbert Gilbert
will officiate.
Burial will be in Union Cemetery. The body
was to lie in state from 3 - 8 p.m. Monday
at the Steffen Mortuary.
Mr. Carrico is survived by two sons, Hall
and William; one daughter, Mrs. Francis
Bailey; four grandchildren, and one brother,
George.
