Otis "Paul" Bennett 79, loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather passed away on July 5, 2008. Paul was born March 7, 1929 in Morrow County, Ohio to Otis "Budd" and Beatrice Bennett.

Paul attended Valley College in San Bernadino, California. He served his country as a Staff Sergeant in the United States Air Force from 1947 to 1951 and received the Korean Service Medal. He earned an Airframe and Power Plant Mechanics License from Northrop Aeronautical Institute in Englewood, California. He also obtained his multi-engine maintenance aircraft mechanic licenses at The Spartan School of Aeronautics in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He worked at Lane Aviation in Columbus, Ohio and then worked for USAir for 33 years, retiring in 1991. Paul was also a member of Plainfield Christian Church.

Paul is survived by his wife of 50 years, Marilyn; his daughter, Denise Shaw and her children, Deena Harris-Wilson, Kyle Shaw and her grandchildren, Jacob and Elijah Harris; his son Robert Bennett and his son, Brady Bennett, his daughter, Paula Bennett; his daughter, Sue Baxter and her sons, Jacob, Jordan, and Joel Baxter; his daughter Jill Cooper and her husband Mark Cooper and their children, Olivia, Hannah, and Samuel Cooper.
