Deceased Name: Charles F. (Andy) Anderson, 53, a retired Marine

Charles F. (Andy) Anderson, 53, a retired Marine Corps captain and a purchasing agent in the hotels division of the Marriott Corp., died May 16 at his home in Woodbridge of a heart attack.

Mr. Anderson was born and raised in Jamestown, N.Y. He joined the Marine Corps in 1951 and served in both Korea and Vietnam. In 1971, he retired from the Marines and went to work for Marriott.

A resident of Woodbridge for the last 15 years, Mr. Anderson was a member of All Saints Episcopal Church in Dale City.

He is survived by his wife, Lucia, of Woodbridge; three sons, Michael and Mark, both of Los Angeles, and Timothy, of Woodbridge; a daughter, Lisa, of Woodbridge, and one granddaughter.
