Born in Irving, Texas on March 5, 1927 daughter of Sadie Graffeo Corley and Thomas Benjamin Corley of Fort Worth, Texas. Ann, as her friends know her, grew up in Fort Worth attending Our Lady of Victory Catholic School. She attended the University of Mississippi in Oxford where she met her beloved husband, George W Norris. Ann became an Air Force Officer's wife criss-crossing the country on their many assignments. She moved to El Paso in 1982 where she has made many close friends and her home within the community. Devoted to her faith, family and friends, she lived a full, adventuresome and happy life. She was an advocate of children with special needs and fought vigorously in protection of their rights. We lost our loved one unexpectedly on July 8, 2008.
She is survived by her seven children, George W Norris, Jr. of El Paso, Maryanne Norris Mitchell and husband, Tom, of Colleyville, Texas, Thomas Corley Norris of El Paso, Teresa Norris of Austin, Pamela Norris of Scottsdale, Arizona, Patricia Norris of Albuquerque, New Mexico and her special angel, Kathryn Norris of El Paso. In addition, she is survived by grandson, Dax Mitchell of Santa Monica, California. She is preceded in death by her husband, George, her parents, Sadie and Ben Corley, and her brother, Ben Corley, Jr.

Visitation at Sunset Funeral Home West located at 480 N. Resler in El Paso on Friday, July 11, 2008 from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm followed by Vigil at 5:00 pm. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Luke's Catholic Church located at 930 East Redd Road in El Paso at 10:00am, Saturday, July 12, 2008
